Bcd Buoyancy

Scuba BCDs. Advice on this one.?
Can some please give me some advice and tell me if this is a decent BCD to invest in.
It had i3, meaning the buoyancy control is a lever over the left hip, I think. I've been advised to get this as it is supposed to be simple and easy to use.
Is it worth paying so much. Thanks

Its is the Pearl i3 by Seaquest/Aqua-lung.
I'm not big on gadgets and widgets added to any dive gear. It's just something that may fail and can make finding replacement parts on a trip difficult.
That said, the overall design is supposed to be female friendly, but I question the need to have an upper/lower simultaneous dump. A widget that no one should need since all BC's have their own separate dumps at hose connect point, lower and on the inflater end itself. You're only going to be using the one that's easiest to get to and in the right orientation (up) on any BC. To me, that simultaneous dump on that BC is something you're paying extra for that has no real reason for being. Just a toy that can break.
One way valves? Even if you managed to dump the BC entirely and some water got in on a subsequent attempt to dump, it wouldn't be enough to affect your buoyancy.
From what reviews I've read regarding the SQ ProQd ( which is what this BC is based on), it tested out well. It's the orientation of your buoyancy controls that could be confusing to an established diver until they're used to their placement. Someone just learning wouldn't have that issue.
