Things you will need:
2 cucumbers
2 cups of Water
1 1/2 cups of Vinegar
1 large Onion
1 large tomato
1/2 tbsp garlic salt
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
6 whole peppercorns
1/2 tsp dill weed

In a large bowl with a lid, slice the cucumbers very thin or use a vegetable slicer. Slice the onion in thin slices and add it to the cucumbers. Next, cut the tomato into thin slices and then cut the thin slices in half and add it to the cucumbers and onion.

Add to the vegetables; the garlic salt, salt, ground pepper, whole peppercorns, and the dill weed. Pour in the two cups of water and the 1 1/2 cups of vinegar, stir the mixture until it is well blended and cover the bowl with a lid; let the cucumber salad chill in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours before serving. Before serving your salad make sure you stir it well.

Old Fashioned Stuffed Fillets of Flounder:

Allow the fish to stand in cold water with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of lemon juice added to it for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain the water and pat the fish dry. Melt the butter; add the onion and saute for a couple of minutes. Next, mix the sauteed onions; bread crumbs, parsley, celery, and the chives. Stir together well.

Take one of the flounder fillets and a scoop of the stuffing placed on the end of the flounder; roll it up and secure it with a toothpick. Continue doing the same way until all fillets are rolled up around the bread stuffing.

Place fish in a buttered dish and bake for about 15 to no longer than 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Baste every 5 minutes with a little butter and hot water blended. Let cool a few minutes and top with a sprinkle of parsley.(Serves 6)

The Earl Grey tea on the other hand is technically not a tea variety but a blended tea.  This blend was created by Earl Charles Grey of Britain way back in the 1830s.  It has become very popular since then because of its tart and refreshing qualities.  The Earl Grey tea is basically a pure black tea laced with citrus and bergamot.  The citrus flavor gives the tea its refreshing taste while the bergamot provides the sweetness and the orange blossom hints.  The Earl Grey is a perfect brew if prepared in warm water.  However, you can also opt to prepare it with ice cold water and add some flavoring like lemon or honey.  This tea is an old time favorite in the United Kingdom and the U.S. 

There are also other popular varieties of black tea such as the lapsang souchong and the English breakfast tea.  The lapsang souchong tea has a very unique pine smoked flavor.  It is normally served hot so you can enjoy the unique smoky and musky flavor of fresh pine.  The English breakfast tea on the other hand is another type of tea blend with the black tea as primary ingredient.  Generally, processing of the black tea leaves involves many hours of drying.  After picking, the leaves will be dried for 18 hours or more until all the moisture content has been eliminated.  The leaves are processed to attain blackness and fired in order to stop oxidation.  The final firing process retains the flavor and aroma of the leaves. 

A black tea is high in caffeine but it is rich in flavonoids which is good for the heart.  The Darjeeling and Earl Grey also display certain anti-inflammatory properties and can help maintain the normal blood sugar levels of an average adult.  Most importantly, a black tea is very flavorful so every sip would be very satisfying.

Everyday we read about the worldwide financial crisis and, specifically, about the U.S. banking and housing crisis. To understand the challenges facing borrowers during the Housing crisis, it is critical to understand adjustable rate mortgages - how they work and how they can impact you.

ARMs offer both advantages and disadvantages. Unlike a fixed-rate mortgage, an ARM provides interest rates that change periodically - and payments that go up or down accordingly.  At first, lenders generally charge lower interest rates for ARMs and this makes an ARM easier to afford initially.  If interest rates remain steady or move lower, this can work to your long term advantage. It is important, however, to weigh the risk that if interest rates increase in the future, so will your monthly payments.

The initial rate and payment on an ARM will remain in effect for a limited period--ranging from several months to 5 years or more. After this initial period, the interest rate and monthly payment may change at regular intervals – every month, every year, every 3 years.   This period between rate changes is called the adjustment period.

The interest rate on an ARM is determined by two things: the index and the margin. The index is usually a standard measure of interest rates and the margin is an extra amount that the lender adds. If the index rate goes up, so does your interest rate and monthly payment.  On the other hand, if the index rate goes down, your monthly payment may go down. Not all ARMs adjust downward, however so be sure to read the details about any loan you are considering.

Lenders base ARM rates on a variety of indexes. You should ask what index will be used for your ARM, how it has fluctuated in the past, and where it is published.

The margin may differ from one lender to another, but it is usually constant over the life of the loan. The fully indexed rate is equal to the margin plus the index. For example, if the lender uses an index that is currently 4% and adds a 3% margin, the fully indexed rate would be 7%.

Some lenders base the amount of the margin on your credit record - the better your credit, the lower the margin. In comparing ARMs, look at both the index and margin for each program.

An interest-rate cap places a limit on the amount your interest rate can increase. Interest caps come in two forms: A periodic adjustment cap, which limits the amount the interest rate can be adjusted up or down from one adjustment period to the next, and a lifetime cap, which limits the interest-rate increase over the life of the loan. By law, virtually all ARMs must have a lifetime cap.

In addition to interest-rate caps, many ARMs limit, or cap, the amount your monthly payment may increase at each adjustment.  A payment cap can limit the increase to your monthly payments but also can add to the amount you owe on the loan. This is called negative amortization.

Patent Funding: Patent Infringement Litigation Is Very Expensive!

If you own a patent, and it is being infringed upon, your only course of action is to sue the infringing party for patent infringement. However, that can be a lengthy, complicated, risky and VERY expensive ordeal! There is, however, light at the end of the tunnel. There are more than a few patent owners who launched patent infringement litigation and won multi-million dollar awards or reached multi-million dollar out-of-court settlements against the infringing party as a result of filing patent infringement litigation.

The challenge is getting from here to there. Finding the patent funding, funds necessary to finance a patent infringement lawsuit, is the first and most crucial step in beginning this process. There are two major cost elements in a patent infringement lawsuit.

There are a few main areas that are extremely costly and would require one to need to secure patent funding to help offset these dramatic costs. Below are some of the major reasons why one would need to think carefully about how a lawsuit of this magnitude can affect their financial structure. At the end you will surely see the pertinent nature in obtaining solid patent funding.

Legal Fees: Attorneys who try IP (intellectual property) litigation charge hundreds of dollars an hour. Due to the complex issues involved, it takes thousands of hours of high-priced legal talent to prepare and try an IP lawsuit. At $200 an hour, a lawsuit consuming just 1,000 hours of work on the part of the attorneys trying the case creates a $200,000 legal tab. That is typically where securing patent funding comes into play.

Disbursements: In addition fees paid directly to attorneys, there are numerous litigation and support services expenses. There are known as "disbursements" and include filing fees, travel expenses and the cost of hiring court reporters to create transcripts of depositions. Sometimes depositions are videotaped, so videographers must be hired, Experts are often brought in to research the claim and, possibly, to appear as expert witnesses at trial. Sometimes displays, charts and models (these are called "demonstratives") have to be created that will demonstrate to the jury how the patented invention works and how it is being infringed. Many law firms use jury consultants to make sure they select favorable jurors and to help them fine tune and improve their presentation to the jury that hears the case.

Bottom Line: Legal fees and disbursements for a patent infringement lawsuit can easily add up to $1 million or more. As a result, patent infringement litigation tends to be a David-versus-Goliath battle. The patent owner is typically an individual or a small business seeking justice from a large corporation with almost unlimited financial resources. It is not a big deal for a multi-billion dollar corporation to spend a few million dollars defending its own self against patent infringement claims. It is quite a big deal for an individual or a small business to come up with several hundred thousand dollars – or a million dollars or more – to pursue the infringing party of its patent.

Two Solutions: A new type of business, the patent enforcement firm, was created to address just this issue, and a new financial service, litigation funding, was created to provide funding for exactly this type of litigation.

Patent Enforcement Firms: There are just a handful of these, but they fill a real need by helping the patent owner whose patent has been infringed, but cannot afford to fund patent infringement litigation himself (or herself it itself). Patent enforcement firms both fund the litigation and manage the entire process in exchange for a share of any award or settlement that results from the lawsuit. They work on a "contingency" basis. That is, payment to them for their services and re-payment of the money they expended on behalf of the patent owner is "contingent" on the outcome of the litigation. They only get repaid for the money they spend on the case, and they only earn a fee, if they are successful at realizing an award of settlement for their client!

Patent Litigation Funders: There are also just a handful of these businesses. They are specialized finance companies that advance funds to plaintiffs in commercial litigation such as patent infringement. They do not make "loans" but make advances that are both "contingent" (re-payment of the advance is contingent on the outcome of the lawsuit) and "non-recourse" (the company has no recourse to collect the money they advanced if the plaintiff loses the lawsuit.

They Pick Their Fights: Needless to say, patent enforcement firms and patent litigation funding companies are very selective in as to which clients they chose to provide their services since they each make a significant investment, and only make back their investment if the plaintiff prevails and realizes an award at trial or negotiates an out-of-court settlement.

The Conduit
It is a futuristic first-person shooter game under development by High Voltage Software for the Wii console and expected to launch on June, 23. The Conduit was first revealed by IGN on April 17, 2008 and on October 29, 2008 the developer announced that Sega had signed on to be the game's official publisher.

High Voltage Software created the Quantum3 engine to make The Conduit a comparable experience visually to games on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 despite the Wii's hardware limitations. The Conduit will also support the recently announced Wii Speak peripheral, allowing online multiplayer gamers the ability to chat as they destroy aliens in each terrifying level.

The recording layer is sandwiched between these 0.6 mm disks. The manufacturing process of DVD disc is carried out very carefully so that birefringence could be avoided. Recording layer is added between the two molded disks which are then glued together. Injection molding process in blu-ray disk format is done on a single disk of 1.1 mm. Therefore this helps to reduce the production cost. This cost saving in blu-ray disk format compensates the additional cost on the protective layer.

In comparison with the DVD disk, the transfer rate in blu-ray disk format is much faster. The transfer rate of DVD format is 10 MB/s while that of blu-ray disk format is 36 MB/s. 25GB material can be recorded on a single side of blu-ray DVD disc. At first, the read-only formats of CD and DVD disks were introduced. Afterwards, their re-writable and recordable formats were introduced. The different formats of blu-ray are BD-R (recordable), BD-RE (rewritable), BD-RW (rewritable) and BD-ROM (read-only). BD-R and BD-RW are ideal for PC data storage while the other formats BD-ROM and BD-RE have been specifically designed for pre-recorded content and HDTV recording respectively. New blue-violet laser has been introduced in the blu-ray optical disc standard, while in DVDs & CDs red laser is used for reading and writing data.

So with the same amount of disk surface as that of DVD, the bluray disk can hold huge amount of data (25 GB on a single layer). Blu-ray name was given to this media format on the basis of its blue laser. The "blu" word came from the blue-violet diode while the other "ray" word was taken from the optical ray. The letter "e" was dropped and a new trademark "Blu-ray" was registered. Bluray DVD disk is also known as BD. Blu-ray disk format was developed in order to enable rewriting, recording, and playback of high-definition video HDV. Blu-ray recordable DVD disc can hold large amounts of data.
